A Legacy of Himalayan Craftsmanship

In Kashmir, the art of fine cashmere weaving has been refined over generations. Techniques are passed quietly from one artisan to the next, preserving a craft shaped by patience, precision, and place.

Each Pashwrap piece is woven from pashmina-grade cashmere, drawn from the soft underfleece of Himalayan goats and transformed by hand into fabric of remarkable warmth, lightness, and tactility.

Provenance

Provenance

Each Pashwrap is accompanied by a provenance document detailing its origin and weave.

In a world driven by speed and scale, Pashwrap exists to protect what cannot be rushed — material integrity, human skill, and cultural continuity.

Handmade Luxury, Preserved

The Material

Transcending the definition of a weave. Surpassing the standards of a blend. This is Pashmina: the purest, finest expression of cashmere in existence.

It is the exceptionally fine under-fleece of the Changthangi goat, collected once a year during the natural molting season in the high-altitude regions of Ladakh.

Measuring significantly finer than conventional cashmere, true Pashmina offers warmth, softness, and breathability that cannot be replicated by machines or synthetic substitutes.

The Craft

Every Pashwrap piece is created entirely by hand in Kashmir.

The fiber is hand-spun using traditional wooden spindles, then woven slowly on heritage looms — a process that preserves the integrity of the fiber and the soul of the craft.

From spinning to weaving to finishing, a single scarf can take weeks to complete.

Why It’s Rare

Authentic Pashmina production is inherently limited.

The goats yield only a small amount of usable fiber annually, and the artisanal process does not scale without losing its essence.

This natural limitation ensures that each scarf remains an object of quiet rarity rather than mass production.

How to Wear

Designed for versatility, this scarf can be worn loosely over the shoulders, wrapped as a stole, or layered beneath outerwear.

Its lightweight structure makes it suitable for year-round wear — offering warmth in winter and breathability in transitional seasons.

Care & Longevity

We recommend gentle dry cleaning only.

When stored properly, pure Pashmina improves with time, developing a softer hand feel while retaining its structure.

Avoid hanging for extended periods; fold and store in a breathable cotton bag when not in use.

Origin & Integrity

Made in Kashmir, India.

Pashwrap works directly with artisan families, preserving traditional knowledge while ensuring fair compensation and continuity of craft.

This is not an interpretation of Pashmina — it is Pashmina as it has existed for centuries.

A Word from the Maker

I weave each piece by hand, using techniques passed to me through generations of my family. Each thread is handled with patience and respect for the material, just as we have always done in Kashmir.
